This is the most eastern point of Australia, Cape Byron. I had camped the night before near the Cape Byron State Conservation Park, where there is a large area of rainforest being protected. It was shot just towards the end of summer and the surfers were already out riding the waves including a wave just in the orange section of the water. Behind me is the iconic Byron Bay wave "the pass" which is always busy with surfers no matter what time of the year.
